Health Care Reform
January 3, 2013 has come and gone and that means several Health Care Reform requirements are around the corner. On January 17, the Arizona Nursery Association along with Western Growers hosted a review of PPACA requirements that take effect this year including W-2 reporting, the notice to employees regarding the health care exchange, new summary of benefits and coverage, flexible spending account and annual it caps, and more. Plant Something Campaign
ANA received a USDA Specialty Crop Grant this last year to promote the nursery industry. To do this, ANA is working with Park & Co., professional advertising firm, to develop a state wide campaign promoting planting and the benefits that go along with it. The campaign debuted at the 2010 Earth Day celebration. To learn more about this campaign, visit www.plant-something.org
